Welcome to a safer, healthier Minnesota
Minnesota has a supportive, thriving and growing COVID-safer community. Join us for a visit or stick around forever! We’re ready to welcome you.
Life Happens Outdoors
Minnesota has four distinct seasons and we take advantage of them all. To live a safer, healthier life, we swear by the old saying, “There’s no bad weather if you choose the right clothes!”
“For me, part of being able to be “still coviding” is hugely influenced by Minnesota’s outdoor beauty and resources. You could live in this state for 100 years and still not visit all the parks/natural wonders here.”

Open-air local brewery patios with food trucks, playgrounds large and small, nature preserves, hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, private pools for rent, lakes and beaches, boating, picnics, outdoor sculpture gardens
and so much more. Minnesota’s own Hearts and Minds Learning Community, an urban outdoors-first school in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area offers innovative education options for kids ages 3-10 with elevated health and safety protocols.
For kids, there’s an outdoor dance class, soccer league and even swimming lessons with elevated health and safety protocols and more activities in the works for fall and winter as well.
Mask Up Minnesota
While masks are no longer required in most hospitals and healthcare facilities, the majority will mask on request.
Several stores across the state still require masks and local COVID cautious groups and families have been able to organize “masked visiting hours” for local attractions.
“I have never been harrassed for wearing a mask in the Twin Cities metro or in any of the more rural communities I travel to. Friends I know, particularly in the South, have been threatened for wearing masks to the grocery store. My kids mask in school and no one bothers them about it (including a middle schooler when you know kids are particularly mean). I have never been the only one masking in a store.”

The Supportive Community You’ve Been Looking For
Members of communities across the state need and want to live safely. From making connections online and in person, starting safer schools, creating kids clubs and forming friendships — Minnesota is ready to welcome you.
“We moved to Minnesota in 2022 mostly due to wanting a safer ‘coviding’ environment. It's not perfect by a long shot but sooo much better than where we were. This group has been amazing and is helping us so much. It is a life changer to not feel so completely alone in this. I'd love to meet people who are thinking about moving here! “

Minnesota also has world-class medical facilities, such as the Mayo Clinic’s Post-COVID Care Clinic and M Health Fairview’s specialized COVID evaluation and treatment program for children — all researching and working to treat Long COVID and post-COVID health conditions.
